Lesson One - Pronunciation

English and Spanish share a lot of sounds and vocabulary, even though they come from different roots, Germanic and Latin.

The sounds of Spanish tend to be shorter than in English, and every letter is pronounced, so take your time when reading Spanish.

Get used to the idea than in order to speak another language, the movements of your mouth need to change. In the beginning, it feels uncomfortable, but with time and practice, the language will be yours, and will form part of you.

Welcome and enjoy Spanish and these lessons.
